LORAC: Hot Off The Red Carpet

Let the bronzing begin! LORAC just released some of their summer collections, all of which are perfect to get you ready for the warmer weeks ahead, for destinations like the Hamptons or Myrtle Beach. I got a chance to check out the Hot Off The Red Carpet Collection, which comes with two baked shadow duos, a TANtalizer baked bronzer, a lip gloss in 3D and a really cute gold clutch (which could actually be used for a night out).

The TANtalizer bronzer is more of a lighter-toned, natural bronze. It's not super shiny, like previous TANtalizer Baked bronzes and it looks natural on even the most fair-skinned women. This color is not matte though, as it does have a light sheen.

Each shadow duo contains two complementary colors.

The less dramatic, perfect for a day at the beach is Tease Me, a light, caramel-y bronze and a gauzy tropical blue sea tone.

The other, Tempt Me, is a light glimmering gold paired with a shimmering espresso.

Finally, you'll get a LORAC Multiplex Lipgloss in 3D. This color is a shimmering bronze-y pink (depending on the way the light hits it), which is beautiful when first applied. Normally, I love the Multiplex Lipglosses but, for some reason, this particular color is so sticky it bothers me a bit. But probably due to that stickiness, the color stays on for a very long time.

You can also pair it with a clear gloss or a clear balm to seal in the color and avoid the stickies.

I almost forgot! You'll also get a golden zippered clutch, which comes with an inside zipper pocket. Unlike many clutches that come with collections, this one is actually very usable for a night out.

(Swatches from the top: 3D Multiplex Gloss, Tease Me: Light Blue and Golden Bronze, Tempt Me: Shimmering Espresso and Light Gold, TANtalizer Baked Bronzer.)

(Day time eye look using Tease Me)

(A lighter look using Tempt Me)

(Daytime look using the whole collection.)

This collection retails for $35 and is available at LORACCosmetics.com, Ulta and Sephora.
