The almond scent is different from almost every other self tanner on the market and had virtually no after-scent, that smell that seems to come out the next morning. You know what I'm talking about, it's chemical-y and less-than-pleasant. You can expect your BE Faux Tan to last for days (I tend to get six) before it needs to be reapplied. Be sure to exfoliate thoroughly before applying the sweet smelling Faux Tan to your skin. I like to wait about 15-20 minutes before getting dressed after applying. And don't worry, if you shower the next morning and some of the color comes off, it's just the guide color - the color that shows you if you have streaks. Your base color will remain (although it will be slightly lighter with the guide color gone.) If you want a deeper color, just reapply Faux Tan more often!
