Get Lots of Lashes! Talika Lipocils Expert Giveaway

It is no secret that my lashes are more lackluster than blockbuster. Regular readers know I kvetch about them all of the time. For the last few years, I have been looking for lash growth enhancers that really work without the possibly dangerous side effects. I have tried a few of them and some have worked better than others.

After a few weeks of trying something new, my co-workers, clients and friends' husbands began to comment on my longer lashes! It's always a little awkward, because it's hard to compliment something like my lashes now looking luxe. The comments always start with something like this:
"Wow. Your lashes look great. They really show up now, I can see them! What are you using?" or "Hey! Your lashes look great. They can't be yours, can they? You never have nice, long lashes."

Ouch. But they aren't wrong. My lashes stink from a heredity standpoint. Here is what they looked like prior to using a new lash saving serum.

(They are so short, they are hard to photograph! They literally are too short to curl. They just stick out.)

When Talika contacted me and asked me to try their new Lipocils Expert in advance of the product launch, I was excited to see if it really worked. The ingredients include UV Photo-filters and Coleus Forskholli, which have been shown in clinical trials to help grow, darken and curl lashes. Plus it includes the 12 plant extracts that made the original Lipocils so popular.

Here is how it works. You apply it at the root of the lashes and before mascara (or after taking mascara off) two times each day, for the first month. After the first month, then just use it once a day to maintain your new lashes. It comes with a unique applicator that is a doe foot sponge and a mascara wand, making it easy to apply in a matter of seconds.

Here is what it did in clinical trials in Paris:

36% longer
50% darker
50% more curled

Again, here were my lashes when I started:

(So short, you can't even see them!)

So what did my lashes look like when I was finished?

(au naturel)

(two coats of mascara)

(one coat of mascara and one coat of powder)

(one coat of BE Flawless and one coat of Mally Volumizing)

Not too shabby, huh!

The new Talika Lipocils Expert is available exclusively at Sephora and retails for $55. I have been using this for more than a month and still have plenty left in the tube. Compared to other products, it's a steal! And just for my short-lashed sisters (or brothers), I have TEN TUBES OF TALIKA LIPOCILS EXPERT TO GIVE AWAY!

Just leave a comment below and tell me about your lashes. Be sure to log in or leave your email addy so I can get in touch if you win. Want extra chances? UPDATE! Since I finished the 28 day Talika challenge, I have continued using the product. Here are my lashes around 50 days. I can't believe these are my eyes!

(The longer lashes on the left are incredible!)

(If I didn't know any better, I would think this is photo shopped. But trust me, my photo shop skills are limited to "crop".)

What are you waiting for? Enter to win (and tell your friends!)

Need longer lashes right now? Check this out!

Also new is Lash Extender from Talika. It's literally fiber lashes in a tube. Put a coat of wet mascara on lashes, touch the tips of your lashes to the fiber brush and add another coat of mascara. It's not the neatest application and not for the faint-hearted. But if you need lots of lashes fast, you might want to try this!
