A few weeks ago, I swatched samples of the new Bare Escentuals High Shine Eyecolor on my gimpy wrist for you. Since then, I have gotten my hands on all of the tubed colors and had some time to play.I know these are shiny. I know that may scare you. Don't let it. I love these things.You know those perfect pictures of models where their eyes are illuminated perfectly (because they have a huge light in their face when the photo was taken)? These shadows are like having perfect model lighting follow you around. On your eyes, anyway.
I have gotten so many compliments from strangers about how bright/pretty/happy/sparkly/beautiful my eyes are when I wear these shadows. They couldn't be easier to apply. I use one of the BE primers first. Then I have been using two colors, one on the inside of my lid and one on the outer side of my lid. That's it. Plus mascara. No liner - it takes away from the immediate eye gleam/happy look. Although if you like a liner, I won't stand in your way.My favorite combinations are Frost & Moonshine and Electric & Glisten. I recreated them for you in less than five minutes each. They are so easy to use and so, so pretty!
